Copacabana y Manquiri como imágen del Templo de Jerusalén.
Augustinian friars built the church of Copacabana between 1631 and 1653. The XVIII century sanctuary of Manquiri is situated close to the city of Potosi, Bolivia. It would appear that Copacabana was merely conceptual, while the Baroque church of Manquiri was a reality. Both presented to the Indians a Christian church as an analogy of the Temple of Jerusalem.
