P. 179: "A.R. Perreiah: 'Paul of Venice's Aragon Manuscripts in Paris'. A basic rule of codicology is: every codex listed on a bibliography must meet certain qualifications of authenticity and authorship. Ordinarily, these are established by an on-site of the manuscript. The present paper shows the consequences of bibliographers' not inspecting the manuscripts firsthand, or of their inspecting them, but being poorly informed about an author's authentic works. The paper illustrates these codicological problems in connection with the manuscripts held in the Paris Bibliothèque Nationale and wrongly attributed to Paul of Venice. It shows that 6 of 13 texts attributed to Paul of Venice are not in fact by him".
