Jerome, Martha, Monica and Augustine, completed after 1509 (Vicenza, S. Corona) both painted for the same patron Pietra Porto. Supports a previous identification of both S. Monicas as portraits of the patron, and argues that events in her life (especially her widowhood and the death of her son) influenced the iconography" (BHA).
