'Traces the architectural history (1501-20th c.) and closely analyzes the typology of the church and Augustinian monastery of S. Maria della Sughera near Tolfa. (The complex was commissioned by Agostino Chigi, who had business interests in the nearby aluminium mines). Notes that without documentary proof, the attribution by earlier scholars to Baldassare Peruzzi and Antonio da Sangallo the Younger, remains hypothetical. Appendix: documents 1504-1929' (BHA).
