'Analyzes the (anonymous) polychromed wooden sculpture group, Crucifixion with the Madonna and S. John (Cesena, S. Agostino), following its restoration, and suggests that it was made ca. 1315 in Umbria. (The author compares the sculpture with the sacred poetry of Jacopone da Todi, and Cesena is located on the river Savio - hence the title)' (BHA).
