'Proposes that the marble figure of a boy from the Bardini collection (attributed by Bardini to the school of Michelangelo, and by Parronchi in 1968 to Michelangelo), which Stanford White installed at the Payne Whitney House (New York, now the Services culturels de l'ambassade de France), is an early work of Michelangelo, on the basis of comparison with such works as the "Bacchus" (Florence, Bargello), the "S. Spirito Crucifix" (Florence, Casa Buonarotti)' (BHA).
