"Argues that from a historical point of view it is better to call the Roman Catholic churches in 17th-18th c. Amsterdam "house churches" rather than conventicles ("schuilkerken"). The word "schuilkerk" (hidden church) only came to be used during the 19th c. by Roman Catholic authors" (BHA).
